I've enjoyed a wonderful Mother's day! Here are my two beautiful girls!!! I feel so blessed to have them in my life.
I really did enjoy this mother's day. It reminded me to ponder on the beautiful moments that I have everyday with my two angels. Like the moment pictured below.
I also couldn't help but think about the not so beautiful moments. The moments where I wonder what kind of a job I'm actually doing of raising these "angels". Take the moment below for example.
Sophie kicking an unsuspecting Mia in the face.Today also made me grateful for a wonderful husband who appreciates me and helps me see the humor in said moments.... (even when Mia cannot).

That loving husband made me a giant card with a poem about diapers.
Stinky diapers, sometimes 3, 2, or 1
It'll be quite sometime before there are none.
And maybe that day you'll be used to the trend,
You'll stop changing the girls, and change MY depend(s).
So here's a little something that will hopefully help out.
{scented candles!! my fav.}And we wanted to let you know that in our minds there's no doubt
That you're the world's best mother (and wife).
And I'd like to thank all the mother's in my life for their love, support and assistance in molding me into a better person. Dodie: A wonderful caretaker with a kind gentle heart that would turn no one away. She is always thoughtful of the people around her and so hardworking!
Jan: The most charitable person I know. I have yet to hear her speak one ill word of anyone... and I know I never will. You are an inspiration to me of faith and humble obedience.
And lastly my wonderful mom Sally: The strongest person I know. I love you so much and am so grateful for your persevering and hardworking spirit. Thank you for encouraging the best from me and always being an example of generosity and stewardship. I want to be just like you. Mom, you're the best.
I think Sophie is already trying to stop Mia from tattling on her.
And for a last mother's day treat, I'm providing a link to a long lost favorite photo from the Calgary Sun. Not for the man in the photo... but for the faces of all the people behind him. Happy Mother's Day Everyone!
