It really is!

The Happiest Place on Earth! So so so fun! This trip was all about the characters. Mia LOVED meeting anything big and fuzzy... or wearing a princess dress, (or both).

I know this is A LOT of pictures, but I'm cutting out at least 17 other characters that we met!

Spent the extra money to eat with the Princesses! The girls had died and gone to heaven!

At the Princess Faire.

Highlight of the trip (for the girls). Daddy had to wait in line for ONE HOUR for us to meet Rapunzel. Thanks Daddy! Disneyland is sure a different experience with two little girls, but daddy handled it like a trooper!

Sophie rode Space Mountain! I couldn't believe it! She was so excited to get to scream really loud.

Mia's Favorite Ride: The train from It's a bugs land.

Checking out Minnie's makeup.

Definitely a different trip with our little kids... I didn't ride Indiana Jones once, but rode the Carousel at least six times. But seriously, who couldn't have fun with this:

It's been so long

I can't even remember our vacation anymore! But at least we have the pictures! After Portland we headed down to Modesto to visit some old friends and get some California sun.

On the drive down to Modesto we stopped at some tiny town that I don't remember the name of... but we took pictures there! So it must have been somewhat memorable. They had an awesome park with farm equipment you could climb on. I suddenly felt we hadn't left southern Alberta at all.

After arriving in Modesto, the next few days were spent quarantined because of puking children. This may of had something to do with it:

Once we were all capable of keeping our lunch down we mingled with rowdy California Mormons.

While down in CA Sophie and I couldn't resist a pedicure. Why don't Vietnamese immigrants move to Lethbridge and open a Nail Salon and offer 21$ pedicures???

Okay, that was a rhetorical question. I guess two month a year sandal weather wouldn't really support a Vietnamese family. And lets face it, who wants to move to Lethbridge? ;)

We also enjoyed a happy Easter, crashed a ward egg hunt, someone got there butt handed to them in ping pong, and we randomly hid a bunch of filled plastic eggs in the house we were staying.... (PS- have you guys found them all yet?? I doubt it! Waa Haa Haaa!) Oh, and at a trip to Costco, Sophie got a new dress, and Mia got a new bike.

Note to future Sophie: No, your parents DO NOT owe you a bike too.

Well, life is not fair.

Next post to come may or may not involve Mickey Ears!!!!! And yes the whole family has them now!!!!

Let's Go!

We just got back from the best (and longest) holiday ever!
It was quite an adventure and an even longer drive. The girl's did AMAZING in the car
- except when Mia barfed all over her car seat-

But all in all, a GREAT trip.

Here are some pics from our first stop: Portland!

We got there after driving all night. The girls woke up to much warmer weather!

The girls got to play with their cousins - which apparently I got no photos of. And we also hit the zoo!

At the zoo, there was a small caged in area where you could go and feed the birds! It was so fun and the girls LOVED it... well Mia did and Sophie did until this one landed on her arm- you can see by her face how she feels about it.

So much fun.... until Mommy got Pooped on! Serious bird diarrhea- I swear it was like 1/2 a cup. They should have splash zone warnings.

We also stopped and visited the Portland Temple.

So glad to be a forever family with these girls.... uh, and Griff too. :)

TO BE CONTINUED......
