Salute to Summer

Can I hear a Hallelujah?! Today it was 24 degrees (75). Fall is definitely on it's way and I couldn't be happier to say so long to the heat. It's been one of those weeks where I'm wondering why we live here anyways, so this post is to remind me.

This is from the famous birthday trip that we are still getting around to posting about. Huntington Beach, CA.

My California Girls. Pretty sunny, good thing we are good parents and put sunscreen on the baby... everywhere except her face that is.

Good bye beach. Hello toques. (Happy Sigh.)

WELCOME TO THE ......

Disneyland was fun but we thought we'd try going somewhere new where we've never gone before - the San Diego ZOO!!! It was another long and hot day filled with FUN and EXCITEMENT!!!! I can't think of anything funny or witty to say - so here's some pics of our adventure!

Waving goodbye to the giraffes! (and goodbye to you too).

M-I-C...K-E-Y

M-O-U-S-E!
Here are some shots of my birthday trip. For those of you who think we are Disney Crazy.... we are. And we LOVE it.

Up bright and early excited for the day! Thanks Jeff for letting us stay! (It is awesome staying with him... he has gorgeous pool with a hot tub that waterfalls into the pool.... Yeah. We had fun.)

This time Sophie loved all the characters! She gave them all high fives and pound it's.

On the classic Jungle Cruise. Believe it or not... one of my favorite rides! (?)

Brooke and the kids came and met us at the park. Sophie LOVES Siyah and has to do everything she is doing.

Check out this hunky boy! Sorry Mia, you're related.
It was a great day, we had a total blast! And this was just the FIRST day of the trip! I'll post some more when I'm a little more motivated.
And some of you may have noticed that I cut my hair off. It didn't look great in these pictures but I do actually love it. I chopped off enough to be donated towards a good cause.
