Dear Daddy...

Manda showed me this video she took of Uncle Ben singing with Sophie when she was only three months old and I fell in love with it!!!! But her internet won't let us simply email it to you- so here it is! Can you download it to our desktop please!!!
Oh yeah, PS we miss you!

Okay- this is boring...

But at least it's more interesting than not posting anything. I remember seeing parents gloat over video of their kids doing absolutely nothing and thinking... 'I'm never going to subject people to this when I have a kid. Don't they realize that this is only interesting to them???'

Well, here we are, and at least you are getting a forewarning. We have been pretty busy this week as we try and get everything together before our big trip home (Hurray! The countdown is on!) So I quickly shot some video of Sophie doing her tricks.... well, kinda. She usually does this a lot better when she doesn't have to worry about everyone on the world wide web critiquing her.

Can''t wait to visit CANADA

This is just a preview, a warning if you will, just to let you see with your own eyes how CUTE I am (so you won't be super shocked when I come and visit).

The face only a mother could love????

Sophie was being silly one day and we couldn't miss the opportunity to capture the moment - so here's that moment, over and over again. Hope this makes you laugh - I know we sure did!

My GIRLS!

I'm so proud of my beautiful girls (even the little furry one).
Just thought I should post these cute pics.

Old Man VS Half Dome

Rock, Paper, Scissors.... So now I know why Rock always wins - It sure beat me.
Friday after work I went to Yosemite with a group from our stake and we did something most people would consider insane. Holy Half Dome Batman! We started at midnight and hiked up the mountain in the dark. Our reward - (besides being up for over 30 hours straight, risking our lives climbing and descending the treacherous CABLES, and walking 9 miles almost straight up then turning around and walking 9 miles straight down) - was a beauty ... being over 8000 feet up and seeing the sun rise. I took a lot of pictures (please pay no attention to the hairy homeless looking man that somehow found his way into most of my pictures ruining the shot) because every time I do this I say it's my last time. This is an extremely strenuous hike, very taxing on one's body (specifically mine). So, to all of you out there who have wanted to hike this hike but have not yet - let me save you some blisters, sweat, muscle and joint pain, and about 8 hours of your life. Enjoy - if you are feeling guilty that I was the one who actually did all the work and HIKED this monster and you are sitting on your behind seeing what it is like to be at the TOP - then reach into your wallets and pull out a 5, 10 or better yet a 20 and send it to Griff Price in Modesto, CA ... once again that's Griff Price.
