We must have been good?

Amazingly enough Santa came to our house this year.
He even left presents instead of coal.

The girls had practiced and practiced the song "This is the Season" and we sang it for our family on Christmas Eve.
We enjoyed a picnic of appie's on the floor while watching Joy to the World. And then sang a couple carols and read some scriptures. It was a wonderful night.
Christmas Eve night the girls got to open one present before putting out the cookies and milk. Matching Christmas Jammies!
We all got pretty excited as we tracked Santa coming closer and closer to good ol' Canada. As Sophie was getting into bed she said "Hurry! Hurry! I need to go to sleep!"
After the kids went to bed the REAL party started. A Wii party!
Note: Funny Story- As we were inviting Mom and Steve and Geoff and Amber to our Christmas Eve night, Griff mentioned to Geoff that we would have a Wii party. Steve apparently misheard and thought that we were having a 'weed' party. Inhale.... Cus that's how we role?
Christmas morning came quickly enough... although not quickly enough for mom and Steve who kept calling us wondering if the girls were up yet. They finally awoke at almost 9:00!
The girls were so spoiled with SOOOO many gifts! Thank you to all for the wonderful presents! We love everything! Santa brought Sophie a baby and a tutu - just what she asked for. And he brought Mia a Baby and a fisher price drawing thingy... and that is the technical word. Mommy made the girls Ruby Lou dolls:
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
Enjoy Wii and not Weed.

A star is born

Over the Holidays Sophie preformed in her very first concert!
She played an instrument
(The bells)
and sang a solo.
(So low you could not hear her.
At all.
In fact I guess you could say that she didn't sing at all.
Even when she was supposed to.)
We are pretty sure that Carnegie hall is in the not too distant future.

Daddy came on his lunch break to support the debut of his little artist.

Auntie Manda and Sister were also part of her adoring fan club.

We are so proud of you! Great Job Sophie!
