Okay, here it is. The long awaited first word. I'll try not to pout too much.
Also, here are some pictures of the day we spent at the Asparagus Festival. What's that? You did not realize that they had festivals to celebrate asparagus? Well my friends, yes, yes they do. And it was awesome! Even Griff enjoyed the deep fried asparagus, and that's saying something! Sophie mostly enjoyed the snow cones we let her eat and Jess enjoyed the Frisbee dog show. We all baked in a 95 degree sun but still had a grand ol time. Who knew asparagus could be so exciting?

Don't even be sad about it!! They only say it first because it's an easy sound to make!! (sorry griff!) Jonas said Da da first too but I think when he finally said Ma ma he actually knew what he was talking about!!
I always look forward to the new posting of my favorite niece. She just is so cute. Now you need to teach her to say Manda is the best!!!!
PS. Everytime I come onto your blog it makes me want to watch Enchanted, because of that song. Dang it Jess.
My favorite picture is the one at the very end with Sophie and the snow cone all over her shirt. She is too dang cute! So cute in fact I might just have to jump on a plane and come and visit...?...!!!
