Birthday Bliss

Here's another catchup blog. March was full of birthdays in the family. We started with Daddy's, who turned 29. (Ages of the characters in this blog have been edited for the writer's safety) The girls and I made him a special basket ball birthday cake... um, this is supposed to be a basketball okay. (Look, I'm not athletic- the closest I came to basketballs in my youth was getting hit in the head with them at gym class - which I loathed) Then we celebrated Mia's Second Birthday! It was a highly anticipated event. You think the royal wedding for Will and Kate is highly anticipated? You should have been at our house in the month before this party. Mia's love of the Night Garden continues, obviously. If you don't know what or who Igglepiggle is.... Don't ask, just enjoy your ignorance. Griff had the bright idea that we (he) should get Mia a small trampoline. (Even though I distinctly remember saying "A trampoline?! Where in the world would we put a trampoline in our house?". Apparently the middle of the living room. Mia's other birthday gift was a big girl bed!

She's been doing so well and loves that Bonnie will come and sleep with her. (Those two are the bestest buds. I am constantly finding bonnie tucked in with Mia's blankie- To which I immediately respond with a "Ewwww! Gross! Mia, don't put your blankie on the dog! Apparently my opinion counts for naught around here.)

That's all for adventures right now. But we should have more to post next month!!!!

Bahaha the doggie in bed is adorable. We also have a mini trampoline and Jacey thinks it is hilarious...however I am always terrified when I jump with her we will get seriously injured!! =) - Alyson
