When my bestest bud Diana came for a visit we headed to San Fran for a day of frolicking. Here are some shots of stuff that screams CA to us.

Palm trees, a light house, and the sunset. What a picturesque romantic evening. Too bad I was nursing Mia on some super uncomfortable bench somewhere else and Griff and Sophie were crashing on Diana and Grayson's memorable moment.
This doesn't really have anything to do with California- but while in SF, we stopped at the fun little arcade with olden day games. They had this Career game which was supposed to tell Griff his new path in life.
Apparently Griff was born for Adagio Dancing. He is surprisingly limber.

While up for the weekend Diana helped me cook my very first turkey! I had to take a picture! It was sooooo Delicious! Thanks Di! It was awesome having you guys here! I miss you! It was a great Thanksgiving.... except the part where Griff busted his hand playing flag (?) football. Yes, really busted, like surgery with pins and general anesthetic. Just in time to move. :)

Looks like you guys had such a great time...and your turkey looks scrumdiddlyumptious! Eden and I have watched the Sophie video over and over. Her little scream is makes us laugh! Poor girl...terrified!

I loved your tribute to Cali...I mean come on, the kids' non alcoholic wine testing.. if that doesn't scream Napa Valley what does! I don't even know what kind of a dancer Griff is supposed to become, your turkey dinner looked wonderful, the Christmas house is out of this world (I think the boys want to make a trip to see it)and the Cowgirl Sophie video is AWESOME. Bahaaa! Poor Griff(?)That happened to Grayson right when we started dating. It was horrible. He had to learn to write with his left hand at university! I hope he gets better! Anyway visiting you was the highlight of my year. WE loved it!! I miss you tons and will for sure be making more trips home to visit!!!
All I can say is "I hope it works out for you guys when you move back here". I mean, look what you're leaving. Cheer up Griff, Ben is coming to help with the move. The girls look great Jess, can't wait to see you.
